The Jockey Club of Canada’s Graded Stakes Committee held its annual review of the Graded and Listed Stakes races in Canada. The number of Graded Stakes in Canada will increase from 45 to 46 with the addition of a Listed Race upgraded to G3.

Mr. Graham was a successful construction entrepreneur who achieved great success within Thoroughbred racing including a Sovereign Award as Canada’s outstanding breeder in 2012.

The average increased by 5% from $2,758 to $2,902 with the median increasing by 54% to $2,000 from $1,300 in 2017.
