Blame colt tops the 2017 CTHS (Ontario Division) Winter Mixed

November 25, 2017, Toronto –The annual CTHS Winter Mixed Sale held at the Woodbine Sales Pavilion in Toronto where 88 horses were catalogued resulted in 55 sold for a total gross of $151,700 down from $185,200 in 2016.  The average was slightly up from $2,684 to $2,758 with the median decreasing to $1,300 from $1,700 in 2016.


Hip #84 a dark bay colt by Blame topped the sale selling for $22,000. The colt out of the Afleet Alex mare, Joyce Jenkins, was purchased by Michael De Paulo and consigned by Shannondoe Farm, Agent.


Hip #67, a dark bay colt by Nephrite (GB) selling for $10,000 was the second highest sale price. The colt out of the Thunder Gulch mare, Sarasota Sunrise, was purchased by Robert Michael Ross and consigned by Michael C. Byrne, Agent.
