Violence colt tops the 2018 CTHS (Ontario Division) Winter Mixed

November 24, 2018, Toronto –The annual CTHS Winter Mixed Sale held at the Woodbine Sales Pavilion in Toronto where 81 horses were catalogued resulted in 54 sold for a total gross of $156,700 up from $151,700 in 2017.  The average increased by 5% from $2,758 to $2,902 with the median increasing by 54% to $2,000 from $1,300 in 2017.

Hip #39 a dark bay colt by Violence topped the sale selling for $17,000. The colt out of the Tiznow mare, Tiz Shopping, was purchased by Matthew Brouwer and consigned by Ballycroy Training Centre.

Hip #63, a chestnut filly by Society’s Chairman selling for $9,500 was the second highest sale price. The filly out of the Gilded Time mare, Jazz Life (BRZ), was purchased by Mike De Paulo and consigned by Shannondoe Farm, Agent.
