How to Become a Member

The CTHS (Ontario Division) assists its members by providing information, representation and promotion throughout the Thoroughbred horse industry. Members include breeders who are dedicated to both the breeding and further development of Thoroughbred industry resulting in the production of outstanding quality horses.

Membership is effective upon receipt of payment of dues.

Membership to the Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society:

• New Membership: $106.00 membership fee (GST incl.)
• Current Membership: $106.00 if paid by March 31 of each year, $159.00 if paid after March 31 of each year.
• Associate Membership: $53.00
• Family Membership: $21.20

Membership Definitions:

Annual Members: Annual members shall be those persons, partnerships or companies who are owners of Thoroughbreds for the purpose of breeding Thoroughbreds in the current year in Canada, registered in a Stud Book recognized by the Society, whose application has been approved by the National Board and who have paid the prescribed membership fee.

Associate Annual Members: Associate annual members shall be those persons, partnerships or companies who are not owners of Thoroughbreds in Canada, whose application has been approved by the National Board and who have paid the prescribed membership fee.
